Under inclined billboards and gleaming banners
Beneath, smoky eyes and heavy tanners
I sit beside the window and look out
Watching the cold , dark day sprout
From my varicose veins , I lift my stockings
And watch hundreds of commuters flocking
To them , the day may be bright and fair
As I carefully undo my coloured hair
The shops nearby open their shutters
As my eyes find ways from this bezoar gutter
I saw a man thrashing down his spouse
And saw some gamblers , hiding louse
What a shame , they boast of civilized sene ?
And are ready to change for a mighty pence
They are literate and hence they know it all
How to tackle pollution and acid rainfall
I sit alone , my bed undone and tattered
And watch everynight ,my dreams being shattered
The blueprint of this tetris lies all in my head
The infesting maggots lie beneath my bed
On the main road infront , I sit and fix my sight
My unwilling soul is ready to face another night
Forgive and forget is the order of the day
I have actually forgotten , what I had to say
